Mapping Hope Across Horizons

Not What We See — But What We Sense

Collioure, France | June 8–10, 2026

Mapping Hope Across Horizons is an exhibition by Novisali featuring works from the Pastel Paradise series, presented in the luminous coastal town of Collioure in the south of France.

Set between sea, mountains, and sky, the exhibition explores the emotional landscapes that exist beyond the visible world. Through soft color fields, floral forms, flowing horizons, and dreamlike compositions, the artworks invite visitors into a space of calm, reflection, renewal, and quiet optimism.

The title speaks to both place and inner experience. Horizons can be geographic, but they can also be personal, emotional, and symbolic. Hope is not presented here as something loud or dramatic, but as a gentle force that helps us orient ourselves toward light, beauty, and possibility.

Created in a palette of luminous pastels, turquoise tones, soft pinks, warm golds, and oceanic blues, the works echo the atmosphere of summer and the changing light of the Mediterranean. They suggest gardens of imagination, skies of stillness, blooming transitions, and moments of serenity in an often accelerated world.

Collioure has long been associated with artists drawn to its extraordinary light and color. In this setting, the exhibition enters a subtle dialogue with that artistic legacy while offering a contemporary language of hope and inner presence.

The artworks in Pastel Paradise are rooted in Novisali’s long practice in watercolor and her evolving exploration of mixed media and digital transformation. They balance softness with depth, simplicity with emotion, and abstraction with recognition. Some works may also include moving or interactive digital layers, extending the experience beyond the static image.

Rather than asking to be explained, these works ask to be felt. Visitors are invited to pause, sense, and discover what each image awakens within them. Each horizon may hold a memory, a longing, a new beginning, or a place of rest.
