Novisali participating at Gaudi Art Fair, Madrid, 2026
During Madrid’s international art month, Novisali presents Mapping Hope at the Gaudí Art Fair, March 7-12, 2026 — an exhibition exploring hope as a present-day practice rather than a distant promise.
Exhibited alongside international contemporary artists, the works invite viewers into reflective spaces where perception, memory, and imagination meet. Through layered visual language and extended digital elements, the exhibition explores how we orient ourselves in times of uncertainty and change, and how hope can emerge through attention, connection, and human agency.

Novisali Mapping Hope – Exhibition Description for Gaudi Art Fair, Madrid
Mapping Hope explores hope not as optimism, but as orientation.
Through the series Hopepunk, Human Cartography, and Sparks of Hope, the artworks trace emotional and human landscapes — mapping resilience, connection, and quiet agency within changing environments. Each work becomes a point of navigation, inviting reflection on where we stand today and how we move forward. For this international art fair, Novisali presents nine new artworks.
In Hopepunk, radical hope emerges through light, color, and subtle resistance — expressing a belief in constructive futures grounded in human agency and quiet persistence. In Human Cartography, abstract forms become maps of inner and collective experience, exploring belonging, transition, and shared human terrain. In Sparks of Hope, small moments of light and emergence become focal points, reflecting how renewal often begins quietly — through attention, connection, and the recognition of possibility within change.
Together, the works invite slower seeing and personal interpretation, allowing each viewer to locate their own meaning within the image and their own point of orientation within the landscapes they suggest.
The works originate in original hand-painted watercolours, reimagined through image capture and visual refinement. They are realised as unique single-edition works on reusable aluminum with a luminous, glass-like surface that heightens visual presence while ensuring durability over time. Selected works are further extended through moving image and augmented reality, allowing visual layers to unfold gradually and inviting the artwork to evolve beyond its physical surface
